1. On November 4, 2016, the sub-association arranged for Vice President Zhao Liefa to lead a team to organize relevant personnel from member companies for a winter safety production inspection of six production enterprises in the sub-association. After the inspection, the participating companies submitted a report on the inspection situation to the sub-association.

2. On December 29, 2016, Huang Yi, Deputy Director of Huangshi City Economic Commission, and Chen Xingan, President of Huangshi City Industrial Association, visited the sub-association's president enterprise - Huangshi City Xinyi Mineral Co., Ltd. They held discussions with sub-association leaders Wang Yiting, Shi Daijia, Zhao Liefa, and Huang Haiqiao on relevant matters.

3. On January 3, 2017, a delegation of 7 doctoral professors from the School of Materials and Metallurgy of Hubei University of Technology, led by Secretary Liu Zhutong and Dean Chen Yue, conducted on-site research at five production enterprises of the sub-association, and engaged in in-depth discussions on new product development, human resources, and other related matters.

4. On January 22, 2017, representatives from 12 member enterprises of the sub-association participated in the "Huangshi City Entrepreneur Salon and New Year Symposium on Industrial Transformation and Development" held at the Cihu Mountain Villa in Huangshi City, attended by Huangshi City Mayor Dong Weimin and other city leaders.

2016Top Ten Events of the Year

1. On January 7, 2016, the four leading units that formed the Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union Friction Material Raw Material Sub-association: Xinyi Company, Duxin Company, Wangping Company, and Qifa Company sent representatives to participate in the "9th Fourth Council Meeting and Entrepreneur Experience Exchange Meeting of Huangshi City Entrepreneur Association and Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union."

2. On February 25, 2016, the Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union Friction Material Raw Material Sub-association was established at the Haiguan Mountain Hotel in Huangshi City. Leaders including Hu Jianhua, Deputy Director of Huangshi City Economic Commission, Yang Baichang, President of Huangshi City Entrepreneur Association and Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union, Li Dingming, Secretary-General of Hubei Province Friction Sealing Material Association, and Deputy Director of Zaozhuang Economic and Information Bureau attended the meeting. The China Friction Sealing Material Association sent a congratulatory message and reported it on their official website.

3. On May 13, 2016, six member units of the sub-association participated in the "18th China (International) Friction Sealing Material Technology Exchange and Product Exhibition" held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, and sent two programs to participate in the thank-you dinner.

4. On May 27, 2016, entrusted by Wang Yao, President of the China Friction Material Sealing Material Association, the sub-association arranged for three people to go to Wuhan to conduct on-site research on exhibition venues in the Wuhan area and reported the research situation to President Wang Yao in a timely manner. On July 8, President Wang Yao and Secretary-General Zhang Yukun of the China Friction Sealing Material Association called and sent messages to inquire about the disaster situation of member enterprises during the flood season.

5. On August 18, 2016, Professor Lei Shaomin from the School of Resources and Environment of Wuhan University of Technology was invited to Huangshi by the sub-association and gave a special lecture on "Development Dynamics and Strategic Thinking of High-Purity Quartz in Key Basic Materials" at the Sanya Hotel in Daye. Fu Shunyu, Secretary-General of Huangshi City Entrepreneur Association and Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union, was invited to attend, and Zhang Huanming, Director of Huangshi City Economic Commission, also had discussions with Professor Lei Shaomin and shared a dinner.

6. From August 26 to 29, 2016, some enterprises of the sub-association sent relevant personnel to participate in the "2016 China Non-Metallic Mineral Industry Technology Seminar and Trade Expo" held at the Kunshan International Exhibition Center in Jiangsu.

7. On September 13, 2016, Wang Yiting, President of the sub-association, was invited to attend the Huangshi City Entrepreneur Salon and Mid-Autumn Symposium on Green Transformation and Development of Huangshi Industry. Leaders including Zhou Xianwang, Secretary of Huangshi City Party Committee, and Dong Weimin, Mayor of Huangshi City, attended the meeting.

8. On November 4, 2016, the sub-association arranged for Vice President Zhao Liefa to lead a team to organize a winter safety production inspection, with representatives from each member enterprise participating to conduct inspections of the six production enterprises in the sub-association.

9. On November 18, 2016, the one-year anniversary event of the sub-association and the 13th regular meeting of the sub-association were held at the Diaoyu Island Hotel in Daye City. Fu Shunyu, Secretary-General of Huangshi City Entrepreneur Association and Huangshi City Entrepreneur Union, and consultant Pu Yuping of the sub-association were invited to attend.
