Fiberglass is a type of inorganic non-metallic fiber material made from molten glass through a very fine drawing process, which can be continuous or discontinuous. Its main components include silica, alumina, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, and other trace elements.
The chromium ore used in industry is chromite, which belongs to the spinel group, with the general chemical formula FeCr2O4. There are about 30 chromium-containing minerals in nature, but only a few have industrial value. These include magnesiochromite, aluminochromite, also known as high-chromium spinel, and hard chromite. Chromite is a spinel mineral and is the only important industrial mineral for chromium iron.
Dolomite is a common carbonate mineral with the chemical formula CaMg(CO₃)₂, primarily composed of calcium, magnesium, and carbonate ions. Its crystal structure belongs to the trigonal system, and the common crystal form is rhombohedral, with crystal faces often exhibiting a curved saddle shape. The color of dolomite ranges from pure white to gray, yellow, green, etc., depending on the type and amount of impurities present. The Mohs hardness of dolomite is approximately between 3.5 and 4, with a relative density of about 2.8 to 2.9.
The main application areas of antimony sulfide include: Matches and fireworks: used as a friction agent and oxidizer; Glass industry: used in the production of colored glass; Rubber industry: used as a vulcanizing agent; Optoelectronic materials: applied in solar cells and organic optics; Friction materials: used in brake pads, clutch plates, and other friction materials; Medicine: has antibacterial and antiparasitic effects, used in drug preparation.
