Calcined petroleum coke is a solid carbonaceous byproduct derived from heavy residual oil (such as vacuum residue, reduced pressure residue, etc.) through a delayed coking process. It is an amorphous carbon, typically appearing as black or dark gray particles or lumps, with high carbon purity, low volatile matter, and specific physicochemical properties.

Tire powder, also known as rubber powder, is a product made from waste tires that have been pre-processed (such as removing steel wires and fibers) and crushed into a powder form.

Nitrile rubber has better heat resistance and strength than styrene-butadiene rubber, and its heat resistance and wear resistance are superior to natural rubber. Additionally, the solubility parameter of nitrile rubber is between 9.3 and 9.9, which means that nitrile rubber has good compatibility with thermoplastic phenolic resins. The two materials have good blending properties, making nitrile rubber a commonly used type of rubber in friction materials, particularly for products that require high performance.
